'Decay' Photography

Although the focus of my project is investigating 'decay' through drawing and illustration, I have also collected visual research through photography.

Through out the project I have taken photographs of indications of decya, both organic and urban that I come across in my daily life.

Most of the photographs were of 'urban' decay

i have categorised my favorite photographs in terms of urban and organic. Also, in terms of the type of photgraphs eg. Architectural. Pattern. etc


These are photogrpahs focussing on the texture/ pattern created by decay











I find these textures of decay really interesting and some how so mundane that people dont notice them.
