Alphabet Soup Pt1.....Work in progress

For this brief we had to produce a series of ten letterforms to represent our visual interpretation of a word which were randomly given to each individual. The word that was given to me was Edit. We were able to choose any ten letterforms that we think are most appropriate to the word given and to our design. The constriant for this was we had to produce these letters by manipulating an already existing type.

These are some of my work sheets to show the thought process I went through.
The main idea that I had was that I wanted to produce something that withit itself can be edited and modified. A letterform that can be rearranged, added to or taken apart to become another letterform.



I wanted to create something that was made up of diffrent parts or small parts to make up one bigger construction.
