Speaking from experience:Carton Thumbnails

These are some of the thumbnails that I did on the design sheets after the crit on Friday. I decided to package the stress balls inside the juice carton instead of making another separate packaging for it to solve the 'concertina' problem. The concertina will be placed on top of a card placed on top of the stress ball inside the carton to give it stability and level. Therefore when the audience pull out the concertina all of it will be visible rather than only a few pages. The concertina will be semi attached to the card so that its still attach when you pul it but then it will also detachable so that the audience can remove it from the packaging at stick the concertina on their wall.

Speaking from experience:love your experiments thumbnails

Speaking from experience: Concertina 1

The concertina will be made out of an A2 card and each 'tile' has the dimension of 75mm x 75mm which will fit perfectly inside the carton.

The concertina will then be tiles long with contents on both side.

On one side of the booklet the content will be all text and type and on the other side there will be illustrations with both type and image. The topic on both sides will match
e.g.. 'talk it out of you'-on this side it will be the advice and a description and on the other side of this tile, there will be an illustration explaining this visually.

These are thumbnails of possible layouts for the type and text side

The style of the booklet will match its packagings which will be colourful, playful and Fruity!

The product will mimic the style of packaging you see for juice cartons but in a more playful way. The content will obviously be all graphic design and creativity related. The table of contents and nutrition that you see on normal juice cartons will still exist but the content of it will e different and with humour.

Speaking from experience

There was a slight change of directions since my last crit. I am still producing a range of products to help the first year students ' bring out their creativity ' in the studio. Last week I was producing products based on the slogan ' Grow your creative bones' but I have now changed it to 'Squeeze your creative juice'
After talking to quite a few of my colleges, we agreed that the 'Squeeze your creative juice' is more directly related to creativity and Graphic Design, and also this course ( as Fred has mentioned the creative juice a few time)

I am now in a process of producing the products for this brief. I am producing
- a juice carton with the slogan on it and the title 'Studio 02' as that is the studio the first years are in
-packaged inside the carton will be a concertina booklet 'A guide to....'
-a 'squeeze your creative juice' poster which may be packaged also inside the carton

-'fruit' stress-balls which will have the slogan printed on them and packaged.
